With reference to Mr. Cowell's letter of the 11tn October,
I am directed by the Board to state that they recommend Mr. E. Burney, one of п.M. Inspectors of Schools as a suitable person to advise on the reorganisation of the educational system in nong Kong If this recommendation is accepted the Board suggest that details of Mr. Burney's visit and the question of nis remuneration should be the subjects of discussion between the Board's Officers and Mr.Mayhew on
Mr.Mayhew's return.
